Want to work for TDA? Join us in November for some on the job training.

We would like to announce TDA’s 2nd in a series of on-the-job training camps (this was the first). This is an opportunity for qualified applicants to prove themselves in a real world environment. If you are interested in working with us and would like to get first hand experience on how our Tours operate, then we may have an opportunity for you this winter (Australian summer).  During the Trans-Oceania tour while they are in Australia we will be inviting a few lucky applicants to join us for 3 days somewhere along the route in November or December 2014.
During the 3 days you will work with our staff on Tour and get a feel for how the Tour operates. This would include assisting with navigation, accommodation arrangements, food preparation, cycling as the “sweep” and dealing with logistical issues in general. It is also a time to discuss possible future staffing positions with the Tour Director.

TDA will choose up to 6 applicants to take part this fall. Applicants will pay their own expenses to meet up with the tour, but all their expenses (food and lodging) during the 3-day camp will be covered by TDA.
