We biked everywhere possible and spent her entire vacation together. She had a personality that I became very addicted to and never really liked it much when we said our farewells at the airport. Through the years we kept in touch as best a couple vagabonds could. I am still sad thinking how our world has lost such a precious personality. She could tame the wildest among us and now I sit here on the east coast in Cape Breton with the greatest sadness I have felt in years still thinking about the times we shared. Heaven is now a better place with her being there.

Holly had that amazing gift that not only did she bond quickly with everyone, but liked , yes loved by so many of us. She was special with her vegan diet, her caring for everyone and her desire to experience Africa.
I would also like to thank Roz and Andrew for informing me of the situation and I wish that we all remember how fortunate we all are that we got to meet a beautiful woman, Holly.

The way Holly could write, I felt as though I was there – vivid pictures would come to mind while reading her amazing words. I have read everything people have posted and it is so true that Holly never judged, she was always uplifting, kind and loving and of course her wonderful laugh and smile will never be forgotten. Holly saw the good in everything and everyone, she was truly one of a kind. I am so happy she was able to do her bike trip in Africa and at the same time, I was so worried while she was there…I always said to her “you’re amazing”…and I meant it. I don’t know too many people like her, in fact no one like Holly. I miss her soooo very much and want to Thank-you all for your kind words and wonderful memories. May you rest in peace Holly and may your angelic smile stay with all of us forever. Until we meet again….R.I.P. Lots of love, Tiina

Ethiopia springs to mind, most of us (TDA12) complaining about the kids and the stones the “whips” BUT not Holly. It was truly a honor knowing holy. R.I.P HOLLY BEETHAM
