Hooray! Hooray! TODAY is the day! The bicycle is 200 years old and we’re CELEBRATING!
Birthdays are for gift giving, right? That’s exactly what we’re doing to celebrate the bicycle’s 200 years of existence. We aim to give the gift of transportation to 1,000 individuals and families in Africa through our partner community organizations. That gift will create greater access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunity, making real wishes come true.
You can help and have fun doing it. Challenge two friends to join you in the #200for200 Summer Cycling Challenge then get on out there and ride and raise and share, share everywhere.

Great challenge and great goal.
I completed my challenge on Saturday July 8, 2017, leaving from Stuttgart and finishing at Mannheim/Rheinau, the location where Karl v. Drais completed the very first bicycle journey on his invention of the ‘Laufmaschine’ (the walking machine) named Draisine after him and which started a new era of commuting.
