I completed my challenge on Saturday July 8, 2017, leaving from Stuttgart and finishing at Mannheim/Rheinau, the location where Karl v. Drais completed the very first bicycle journey on his invention of the ‘Laufmaschine’ (the walking machine) named Draisine after him and which started a new era of commuting.
