National and regional border restrictions are likely to continue to change at somewhat short notice. This also means visa regulations will be in flux in the short term.

I had a plan for world tour and will start from hyderabad India on 18th of october this year. Now mayanmar not opened the borders and expected from january will open. can you suggest and arrange visa for china and mongolia, russia and other schengen visa

Hi Shanny,
Excellent work! Very complete. You asked if we had a story about obtaining visas. Yes we have, for our TdA in 2006, we asked a Dutch company to obtain our visa for Sudan. As we were entering around end January/early February, and as you have to obtain them before, they were issued by the Sudanese embassy in The Hague in December 2005. Living in France, we were anxious getting the passports back via DHL in time. My wife Jenny called me at work, saying that they arrive, BUT the validity was not untill March 2006, but March 2005! The Dutch company had not verified that and when I called them, they contacted the embassy who advise to change the 5 into a 6 myself! We finaly did that, or actually, one of the crew members did that. I cannot remember her name, she made photo’s during the first part of the trip. At the border, the change in our visas were not noticed fortunately.
So we got a very early impression of Africa!
