Anxiously looking forward to this fantastic adventure, the opportunity to push myself, and to spend some time with my dad. Two years ago we completed a 7 day cycling trip in Southern France, and we instantly fell in love with bicycle touring. Two 100k Gran Fondo later and we are ready for the next challenge! When I'm not biking or working, I love trail running and curling.

Poland

I'm 62 and live in Poland, close to Warsaw. After being very active in business (running my own company) and taking care of my family and our horse ranch, having no time and no interests in doing anything else than work, now I have more time for me and my sports activities because my kids have taken over the most of my work and responsibilities. So, a few years ago, I started to bike. I have done a few MTB biking trips in the mountains of Portugal, Austria and Albania, and also a few trekking trips in Dolomites in Italy and a trekking in Fish River Canyon in Namibia. Now I have registred to a few trips with TDA and hope to hope to experience some exciting adventures on my bike.

Celebrated turning 65 by riding South American Epic. Loved the experience. I was warned these trips become addictive and was home for only 2 weeks before signing up for TDA.

My name is Brad Gray. I live in West Vancouver BC, Canada. I recently completed the 2019 Tour d'Afrique. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and the experience. Travelling across Canada in a Covid environment is a great alternative while waiting for a vaccine to arrive and international travel to start again! I am ready for the next chapter. Carpe Diem, Brad

This is my second TDA tour. I rode on the 2016 Silk Route from Beijing to Siberia. Since 2016 I have enjoyed several cycling tours. I have cycle toured in British Columbia, Wales, England and New Zealand. I have enjoyed both supported and self supported cycle tours. I retired in 2016 to join the Silk Route. Since my retirement I have enjoyed cycling as a wonderful pastime. Cycling keeps me fit and young at heart. I’m looking forward to cycling across Canada and seeing the many sights that Canada has to offer. I live in Victoria and I’ll be starting the ride at Mile Zero in Victoria, so that I ride from the coast of Vancouver Island to the Atlantic Ocean.

I’ve loved Japan ever since I did Ironman Japan in 1994 and 1995 and had home-stays. So excited about going back. This will be my third TDA trip. I retired from a banking career in New York in 2016.

I am a retired French Immersion teacher and have decided that I need to take advantage of opportunities that present themselves. In 2017 I completed the 3 eastern sections of the Oh Canada Tour; Winnipeg to St. John's Nfld. Doing the first 2 sections of this tour will make my cross Canada adventure complete.

"Go! Go! Go! This was the most amazing traveling experience I've had to date! The tour structure allowed me to feel safe as part of a big group whilst it also gave me freedom to decide how to go about my ride each day. Knowing that I could stop as many times as I wanted to engage with locals or go to an art gallery in the middle of the way without affecting other riders was absolutely liberating!"
