Garas Park to Canon Roadhouse (Namibia)

The 150km cycle today included a stretch of 70km dirt road, this combined with a strong headwind and the fact that a few guys spent too much time in the city of Keetmanshoop hunting down chocolate biscuits and Internet cafes saw some of the cyclists only arriving at the camp during dusk. There also seems to be a bit of a stomach bug going around and we missed the sunset at the Fish River Canyon. However most of the riders did make it to the Canyon and reported that the view into the 549m deep battlescar with the setting sun bleeding down its tortured body was quite inspirational.
