This year we introduced our cyclists to the North African nations of Algeria and Tunisia with the inaugural Road of Empires Cycling Expedition. On all of our first ever tours, there is an added degree of anticipation, of being on a voyage of discovery, and this was certainly the case for the Road of Empires.

“It was so much fun to experience the unique culture of Tunisia and Algeria, especially Algeria. Loved the beautiful routes. Many times we were on very low-traffic roads, just us and the goats, sheep, and herders! Lots of climbing, but such gorgeous scenery made it all worthwhile.
