New Tour – Fin Del Mundo (Santiago – Ushuaia)
Pedal past Patagonia’s mountains, forests, lakes and glaciers on the way to the legendary Fin Del Mundo (End of the World).
We are excited to announce another new cycling adventure – Fin Del Mundo – a 7 1/2 week, 4022 km ride through Chile & Argentina. In October, 2028, please join us as we follow in the footsteps of intrepid adventurers like Charles Darwin and Bruce Chatwin and head south from Chile’s capital, Santiago, destined for the ‘Fin del Mundo’, literally the ‘End of the World’, at the tip of South America. The cyclists will spin past some of Chile’s famous vineyards and its stunning lakes and volcanoes before crossing into Argentina and the resort playground of Bariloche. Next up is the legendary Carretera Austral – a 1200 km odyssey through the remote and sparsely populated region of Patagonia – a vast tapestry of forests, mountains and glaciers. And, at the end of it all, looms the shores of the Tierra del Fuego and ‘The “End Of The World.’

Lighthouse at the End of the World
Ever since Ferdinand Magellan sailed through the waters at the tip of South America in 1520, the idea of reaching this far-flung outpost has captured the imaginations of explorers from around the planet. Now, you too can realize your own dreams and cycle to this mythic destination.
Along the way riders will sample some of Chile’s fine New World wines and feast on fresh seafood along the country’s Pacific Coast. Continuing south, cyclists will stop to marvel at the sublime view of Volcán Villarrica from the adventure tourism hub of Pucón. From there, the journey crosses into Argentina to follow the famous Route of the Seven Lakes—a stunning 107 km stretch of the country’s legendary Ruta 40.
After taking in the Argentine lakes, riders will spin back across the border into Chile to begin the historic Carretera Austral. At the end of this remote and challenging road, they will experience one of the most epic border crossings in the world—a rugged transition back into Argentina that includes two ferries, 20 kms of single-track, and a couple of the most isolated border posts on the planet. Finally, cyclists will marvel at the magnificent peaks of Torres del Paine National Park before pulling into Ushuaia, the world’s southernmost city, located at the spectacular Fin del Mundo. One of the most scenic cycling journeys the world has to offer awaits!
