James D. Brown Sends Greetings From The Heart of Sudan

James D Brown of Kingston, Canada sends greetings to family and friends from the heart of Sudan. Happy to report all is well. Have passed the 2,000km mark Alexandria, Egypt through Cairo down to ferry crossng at Wadi Halfa, south across desert and resting at Dongola camp. Tonight we are received and I hear camel races are part of the local show.

Lovely generous people all the way; so helpful and gentle with us. We head to Khartoum tomorrow. Toughest ride ever for me and I am loving every minute.

I send my love to all and especially to my children Sommar and Drury. To my sweet wife Joan: I look forward to us riding into Cape Town together.

A brief hello to some of my many younger relatives and loved ones: Ashley Brown, Meghan, Ben, Christian, Rebecca, Liz and Jonathon. I will get more later as time is short. My message to you all is believe in yourself for you can accomplish any dream you really care about if you are willing to work at it.

This is an extraordinary journey of a lifetime.

My best to brothers Paul and Phillip and my wonderful family, business colleagues at Browns.

Wishing all to be safe, healthy and happy, love,
James D. Brown
