Lost in a Sea of Sand

Desert Camp to Nile Camp near Abri. Steve placing first, covered the 65 km ride in 3hrs 5mins, Sascha followed five mins later, followed by Scotty 25 mins later. Several riders got lost in the skein of tracks that crossed the desert. Michael Kennedy arrived before the truck and went 15 kilometres past the campsite, then had to backtrack against a stiff wind.
