The Unrelenting Desert

Wadi Halfa to desert camp. Forty-two kilometers of very rough road, with lots of bike-stopping sand, flats and falls. Four riders could not finish the day.

First was Steve Topham in 2 hrs 7mins, second was Scotty Robinson in 2hrs 8mins, and third was Sascha Hartl in 2hrs 20mins.
