Hami

A bright, clear and cold morning greeted our campsite. There was an incredible view of the nearby mountain range, sprinkled with a dusting of snow. Our small band of intrepid riders headed on into the city of Hami today and the ride did not disappoint; smooth roads, favourable winds and awesome scenery kept everybody happy. Then the best hot showers we have had so far finished the day off on a high note. A chance to enjoy hot water, eat dumplings and rest up for the next onslaught of desert life on the Silk Road!
