Fathers & Sons

TdA is comprised of people from widely varying walks of life; recent college graduates, young professionals, teachers on sabbatical, retirees, and those ready to embark on a new path through life.  But sometimes the ride is able to bring together people who are already close. This year there are two father-and-son pairs on TdA.  When we get internet access it n Khartum, we will post a short video of a conversation between Randy and Steve Murchison.  Hailing from Edmonton, they have come to TdA to continue a tradition of sharing cycling tours.  Randy is traveling only as far as Khartoum, while Steve will travel to Cape Town.  They have described the experience as positive and reaffirming.  Stay tuned for the video.      — Nick
