Who Will be the First to Complete the 7Epics

Just recently we threw down the gauntlet and already we have several characters who will attempt to cycle all the 7Epics. Eric Beurton, who participated in the inaugural La Ruta Maya cycling tour (better known in its first iteration as the Doomsday Ride), plans to ride the 7Epics one after another and thus be the 1st individual to cycle them all. Eric is planning to start with the Trans-Oceania which begins this August. Eric of course is a great candidate to do it all and quite possibly do it as EFI. I mean when you do not even break a sweat on the Doomsday Ride – which averages 1,500 meter climbing each day – it is not hard to imagine Eric cycling every f….. inch of the seven epics.

Trying to be the first on the other hand may not be so easy as there are many former participants of our tours who have two, three or even four epics already under their belt. It should be an interesting few years. We wish Eric and all of the other candidates that are planning to be the first to ride 7Epics nothing but good fortune. Enjoy the ride.
