Episode 7 of TDA Talks with Nina Gaessler

“These social interactions and that sense of community, that very strong sense of belonging. Even though we were from all different parts of the world… we had that common thing. We were cycling and it was amazing. I have made friends and stayed in touch with people that have become so dear in my life.”

In episode 7 of TDA Talks we had a discussion with Nina Gaessler based in Geilo, Norway. We talked about riding fatbikes in the snow, about the social aspects of a TDA tour and the benefits and differences and solo and supported cycle touring.

This was recorded back in April which explains the snow in the background!

This is a continuation of our ‘TDA Talks’ series. Each month we talk with past participants, aspiring riders and TDA staff to delve into their thoughts and memories. We seek out bike touring tips for our larger cycling network. Each episode lasts just over 15 minutes, and we post a new one every month on YouTube and here on our blog. You can see our playlist of the first 6 episodes here on YouTube and hope you enjoy episode 7 below!
