Episode 13 of TDA Talks with Sharita van der Merwe
In December we had a great chat with Sharita, who is our long time tour leader and route researcher with TDA. She has led an adventurous life, having travelling extensively around the globe in support of TDA and its tours.
Sharita shared a story of spending one Christmas in rural Sudan unexpectedly and another of the ingenuity of a local driver when their vehicle broke down in the middle of nowhere in West Africa. She spoke to us from Tanzania and shared some details of the new cycle tour she just finished scouting – Tanzania: Bike, Climb, Safari.
TDA Talks are 15-20 minute long episodes where Shanny Hill interviews past participants and staff who share their insights about cycle touring.
