Ait Ben Haddou
The Kingdom of Morocco, known to ancient Arab geographers as al-Mamlakah al-Maghribiyyah (المملكة المغربية) or in English, The Kingdom of the West, is the setting for our latest cycling adventure. Join us for a 2700 km journey though this exotic land. Riders will enjoy 27 spectacular riding days, pedalling through Morocco’s stunning countryside and 6 rest days exploring some of the country’s most alluring locales. At night the cyclists will camp under the stars on riding days and enjoy some unique indoor accommodations on the rest days.

Hassan II Mosque, Casablanca
The route begins in Casablanca and takes the riders north through the country’s capital, Rabat, to the port city of Tangier. The riders will then head through the Rif Mountains, stopping to explore the blue-washed town of Chefchaouen before arriving for a rest day in Fez with its magical, confusing medina.

The cyclists will then pedal south through the challenging Middle Atlas Mountains, descending gradually down to the spectacular sand dunes in Merzouga.

Turning west through a desolate plain sprinkled with palm-fringed oasis towns, the riders will climb up into the High Atlas Mountains, arriving in legendary Marrakesh, the Red City, with its unbelievable souks, ancient palaces and winding laneways.

High Atlas Mountains Tizi n’Test Pass
Reluctantly leaving Marrakesh, the riders spin over high mountain passes and down some spiralling switchbacks on the way to the walled city of Taroudannt. Finally, the last days of this remarkable ride take the cyclists past endless sandy beaches and into friendly villages offering incredible seafood before returning them to their starting point in Casablanca.
