Cycle Touring 101 – Ask the Experts May 17

Spring is upon us in the northern hemisphere and we have many tours lined up for later this year – maybe you do too. Planning your own cycling adventure? Or considering a supported tour with us? This information session is a great opportunity to ask your questions directly to our knowledgeable staff.

The panelists include people who have cycled across Africa, Europe, South America and Asia and tour leaders who have lead groups of cyclists through more than 50 different countries.

When: May 17, 2022 at 1:00pm Toronto/New York (18:00 London, 19:00 Amsterdam)

What: We will do quick introductions and a 5 minute overview of the 2022/23 tours we have scheduled, followed by an open Q & A with our knowledgeable staff.

Length: 30 – 45 min

Who are the panelists: Our customer service team of Michael Coo and Shanny Hill; TDA’s head of African Operations, Sharita van der Merwe; our Operations Manager Miles MacDonald who oversees all the organization of our tours worldwide. Founder Henry Gold and our head of Latin American Operations, Cristiano Werneck may also be in attendance. They will be able to address all your concerns and answer all your questions about travel, bike touring, and how to prepare for your next big trip.

Who should attend: Anyone interested in joining a TDA tour someday in the future. Anyone with cycle touring plans whose looking for some advice from people with a wide range of experience cycling and organizing tours around the globe.
