New Registration Fee Starts January 1, 2025
“We had an amazing first tour with TDA. We were welcomed into the TDA family by seasoned riders and we all got along well as a group. The staff on our trip were first class, the meals were excellent and the routes varied and interesting. Communication before and during the trip was clear and well organized and we had a good sense of what to expect each day. I would highly recommend TDA to those who want to get off the beaten track and experience another country/culture close up. We felt safe and supported the whole way while cycling at our own pace, stopping where and when we wanted to.” – Melanie from Canada after riding with the 2024 Morocco: Kingdom of the West cycling tour
We believe that our tours are about more than just cycling. They are unique introductions to different cultures. They are a chance to meet people, to gain new knowledge, ideas and perspectives. Our hope is to have many more people participate in the years ahead, to join the ‘TDA family’ that Melanie describes above. From Toronto to Tromsø, Amsterdam to Adelaide, we have amateur adventurers from all over the world register for our tours.
Starting on January 1, 2025 the registration fee for a cycling tour will be US$250. As always, you pay this fee with a credit card on our website. Since some tours do sell out, this fee holds your place on the tour until the payment deadline (3 months before the start of your tour). The fee is non-refundable, non-transferrable and is in addition to the entry fee. This commitment from you allows as many people as possible to join before we mark a tour ‘sold out’.
As an added bonus, the updated registration fee will also come with a voucher for a TDA Global Cycling t-shirt of your choice from our online store – shipped direct to you, anywhere in the world. It’s also important to note that for every tour participant, TDA Global Cycling now makes a donation as part of our annual charitable giving through our TDA Foundation (more on that here).
When asked about the registration fee increase, TDA’s Managing Director and Founder, Henry Gold, had this to say:
A lot of time has passed since our last registration fee update back in 2007. TDA is now running 20 different tours with (you heard it here first) more to be announced in the near future. Paying the registration fee releases a comprehensive amount of information for the participant, including what equipment, clothes and spare parts to bring, what visas you might require, and what you can expect from the tour. Our cycling adventures are unique and, in order to have a successful tour, they require a great amount of preparation and logistics. After all, crossing continents is not an easy undertaking. The registration fee allows us to see that a person is committed to the tour and that helps us to prepare properly. In return, we promise you a most unique cycling experience.
If you have any questions about the new registration fee or anything else about participating in our tours, our Head of Customer Service, Michael Coo, would be happy to speak with you. You can contact him at [email protected]
