How Do I Register For My First TDA Tour?

 

Congratulations! You’ve explored our website, checked our Tour Calendar and Tour Finder features and decided on which one of our amazing cycling adventures you would like to try first. Now what?

Tour Status

 

The first step is to go to the home page for the tour you have selected to check the tour status. If there is no note next to the tour/section start/finish cities or it says ‘Spaces Available’, the tour/section is open for registration.

If the note indicates ‘Limited Space Available’, then the tour is still open for registration but spaces are limited and the tour may be marked as ‘Sold Out’ soon.

If the note indicates ‘Waitlist Open’, then the tour is sold out but we are accepting names for a waitlist. There will be a link under the tour/section details that allows riders to email the office to be added to the waitlist. If spaces become available, riders on the list will be contacted on a first come, first served basis and offered a spot. The registration fee does not have to be paid to be added to the waitlist but must be paid immediately upon being offered a spot on the tour.

If the note indicates ‘Registration Closed’, the tour is sold out and the waitlist has already been closed. No further registrations are allowed.

Tour Registration

Once you have established the tour’s status, you are ready to move to the next step. Return to the home page for your desired tour.

On the right hand side you will see a ‘Register Now’ tab. Please click on that. This will take you to the Registration page.

The first section is – ‘What Tour Are You Registering For?’ The default tour/year is the tour and year from the homepage you originally clicked on. You can change the tour/year by clicking on the relevant drop down menus but let’s assume you are sticking with your original choice.

The second section requests some personal information that we use to process your registration. This must be completed to move ahead with the registration.

The system will now ask you to confirm that you are doing the full tour or one or more sections.

The next step will prompt you to read our Terms & Conditions. It is very important that you do this before signing up for the tour. They include information on Cancellations, The Entry Fee, Collection Of Personal Information and much more. Once you are comfortable with those details, you can check the box and move on to the next step.

You can now review your registration details before paying the registration fee. If you need to make changes, you can use the back arrow at the bottom left corner of the page. Please be aware that the registration for any tour or section(s) is US$250 payable only by credit card. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. The Registration Fee holds the Rider’s place on the Tour until the payment deadline. The Registration Fee is in addition to, and is not deducted from, the Entry Fee amount.

If everything looks good, then click on the Pay Now arrow. This will take you to the Payment Page. Enter your credit card details and click on the Pay button to complete the transaction.

Success! You are now officially registered and will receive an e-receipt shortly for the registration fee. Time to celebrate and look forward to your first incredible TDA cycling adventure.
