2026 Pub Ride Rider Reviews: “An Exercise In Resilience, Curiosity And Perspective.”
It has been a couple months since the cyclists on the 2026 Pub Ride pedalled into Copenhagen, marking the end of their ride through Ireland, Scotland, England, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany & Denmark. Let’s see if they enjoyed their time together.
Registration is now open for the 2028 Pub Ride Cycling Tour.

“Such an amazing journey! Bicycle paths, towpaths, sidewalks, quiet and busy roads. Flat, gentle slopes, and steep hills for walking up with bicycles. Fields, forests, canals, coastlines, harbours, small and large towns. Sunshine, cool temperatures and hot, gentle rains and a few downpours, tailwinds and headwinds and still days, many hours of sunlight in these summer days. Cycling in small groups, stopping at cafes, rest days to explore and enjoy special places, socializing and solo time.” – Anne Fege (USA)

“It was a great supported ride with good staff and riders.” – Ross Ashborne (Canada)
“This is a great route.” – Bart Berg (USA)

“The TDA Pub Ride was far more than a long-distance bike rideāit was an exercise in resilience, curiosity, and perspective. Each day brought new landscapes, cultures, and conversations, reminding me that travel at the pace of a bicycle allows you to experience a country in ways that are impossible from a car or train. There were demanding days battling wind, rain, and fatigue, balanced by moments of exhilaration listening to the birds along quiet country roads leading to vibrant and welcoming towns. Riding into Copenhagen was a fitting conclusion to the journey. The city’s world-renowned cycling culture felt like a celebration of everything the tour represented: sustainable travel, community, and the simple joy of exploring on two wheels. Arriving after 3 weeks on the road brought a deep sense of accomplishment, and the discovery that some of life’s greatest rewards come from slowing down, embracing pain, and remaining open to the unexpected.” – Brad Klassen (Canada)

“Round for round, pound for pound there ain’t no finer pub ride bike tour around. The staff and fellow riders are first class. We all bonded at the end of each day with exactly what the tour was meant to be, a cold beer in a local beer pub laughing about the days events.” – Jeff Cohen (USA)

“This style of tour is very well run. Organized and efficient. I was more successful as a new long distance rider than I expected which was inspiring to me. The other riders in the group were welcoming as we came in half way to an established group.“- Angela Klasssen (Canada)
