The top places in the 2010 TdA Race appear to have been settled, barring unforeseen circumstances, with the exception of the hot battle for 2nd and 3rd place overall among the men, where Tim and Jethro are separated by only 5 minutes with 1762 km to go to Cape Town. 12 intrepid riders continue to maintain their EFI status, including non-racers Jason Becker and Hartmut Boegel, as well as former race leader Frans Smit who has stopped racing in order to ride with his girlfriend – she joined as a sectional in Vic Falls. Now that's chivalry!
