Chillin’ On The Nullarbor
As our boss, Henry Gold, recently pointed out, there are some great reasons to cycle the Nullarbor Plain on the Trans-Oceania. It may be true that, as Henry claims, while pedalling across a desert you will experience amazing serenity and it may well be a great place for contemplation but, as an alternative, we have put together a suggested playlist of classic Aussie songs for you to chill out to as you spin along. Just in case that serenity thing isn’t doing it for you, especially on the two 180+ km days.
The Drones – Shark Fin Blues
Jimmy Barnes – Working Class Man
Cold Chisel – Khe Sanh
Midnight Oil – Beds Are Burning
INXS – New Sensation
Men At Work – Down Under
AC/DC – Long Way To The Top
The Living End – Prisoners of Society
Split Enz – I Got You
Hunters & Collectors – Throw Your Arms Around Me
Berlin Chair – You Am I
John Farnham – You’re The Voice
Crowded House – Something So Strong
Goanna – Solid Rock
Slim Dusty – Pub With No Beer
The Angels – Am I Ever Going To See Your Face Again
Australian Crawl – Boys Light Up
The Church – The Unguarded Moment
Mental As Anything – If You Leave Me Can I Come Too
Easybeats – Friday On My Mind
The Loved Ones – The Bridge
Daddy Cool – Eagle Rock
Paul Kelly – To Her Door
Eric Bogle – And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda
Did we miss anything?
Enjoy the ride!
